Hammerton Brewery originally began brewing in London in 1868. Sadly it ceased to brew in the late 1950s and was later demolished. In 2014, a member of the Hammerton family decided to resurrect the family name in brewing. It also brings brewing back to Islington, a London borough with a great beer making heritage. Hammerton Beers today are based both on modern and traditional brewing techniques. The team are lovers of all things beer and our beers are influenced not just by English beers but the great beers found across the globe.

Smooth with roasted peanuts and biscuit aroma

Dry/ish review

Hammerton's Crunch AF is an alcohol free version of its successful conventional Peanut Butter Milk Stout. It has a surprisingly intense burnt sweet vanilla aroma, and a taste combines a touch of bitterness with caramel and hints of peanut butter, but which is disappointingly thinness. The peanut butter really kicks in with the aftertaste. A curiosity.

Refreshing light and alcohol-free pale ale.

Dry/ish review

Hammerton Zed Pale Ale has a very light aroma with a very gentle taste that has slight hints of soft fruits and hops but almost no bitterness. Sadly Hammerton Zed Pale Ale suffers from being a little thin and is also over carbonated. However it’s easy to drink and perfectly fine if its the only Pale Ale on offer.
