San Miguel

1 non alcoholic beer listed on Dry/ish

San Miguel was founded by Spaniards in Manila in the Philippines in 1890 when its first brewery (the first brewery in South East Asia) was launched on the feast day of San Miguel in the district of San Miguel. San Miguel expanded in Asia first and then to Spain in the 1950s. It produces a small range of pilsner style lagers which are distributed globally, one of which is a non-alcoholic pilsner which was launched in 2001 as the first non-alcoholic beer in Spain.

Light bodied, well balanced lager

Dry/ish review

Lovely amber colour. A light bodied beer with its classic lager taste balanced by a pleasant mild sweetness The aftertaste has some sweetness balanced by slight bitter aftertaste. Unchallenging, but in a good way. A very well executed non-alcoholic version of a mass market lager
