St. Peter’s Brewery is one of England’s first craft breweries, founded in 1996 in former traditional agricultural buildings alongside the moated St. Peter’s Hall, deep in picturesque Suffolk (England). The location is ideal for the excellent water quality used in the brewing process – all beers use water filtered through chalk deep beneath the brewery, obtained from its own deep bore-hole. The brewery also uses locally grown East Anglian malt. It has developed several non-alcoholic beers which form a core part of its range.

Mild, malty aroma with dry bitter taste

Dry/ish review

Mild, malty aroma. Dry and bitter, but not overwhelmingly so, and balanced by a subtle malty sweetness. A softly bitter aftertaste. Very enjoyable, but not quite outstanding.

Malty aroma and taste

Dry/ish review

Strong malt aroma. Smooth with a pleasantly bitter, malty taste that merges into the aftertaste. If anything the malt is slightly overwhelming , and as a result the beer lacks subtlety and depth.
